Hybrid Cloud Deployment to hit 45%

Hybrid Cloud Deployment

The manufacturing sector is seen to adopt the hybrid cloud deployment extensively, as the numbers have gone up to as much as 45% from the current level which was just like 19%.

The Hybrid Cloud is a cloud computing technology that uses a mix of on-premises, private cloud, and third party, and public cloud services with a balance between the two platforms.

Chris Kozup, the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Nutanix has said that Manufacturers are investing in modernizing their IT stack and adopting industry 4.0 solutions to keep up with the ever-changing industry demands in the areas like production and supply chain management.

The Hybrid Cloud structure is giving the manufacturers a fresh approach to modernizing legacy applications and services. This has helped the manufacturing IT Leaders to focus more on their long-term investments like big data, IoT, and other next-generation enterprise applications, Kozup added.

To Hybrid Cloud Deployment, the companies must meet the following requirements-

They must have availability of IaaS platforms, they should have the construction of a private cloud either on the premises, or a hosted private cloud provider, and they must also have adequate WAN connectivity.

In the last few years, most companies have turned towards the use of Hybrid Cloud Deployment. The heterogeneity of clouds, products, tools, and the technologies used by the enterprises to increase their businesses has increased. This market shift has made the companies shift to better manage resources such as the Hybrid Cloud.

Hybrid Cloud Deployment has seen a growth graph over the years. In the first phase, many of the companies were not willing to use cloud solutions mostly because of the issues related to security, compliance, performance, and costs. But the latest phase of the cloud has shown growth, as many of the companies are rapidly adapting to cloud solutions. While the concept of the hybrid cloud has been around since 2011, it was only in the year 2017 that the technology actually took off. Today, almost every company is turning towards the use of Hybrid Cloud Solutions, and it has helped them to efficiently manage the portfolio of products.
