American tech company Apple is set to start manufacturing its new iPhone 12 series in India. The production here means assembling because largely parts will be imported and phones will be assembled in India.
Sales of the iPhone 12 are also getting better after the unlock and now it will be made in India. The production of the iPhone 12 will be done for local customers in the country itself. The company has said that Apple makes great products for its customers. It is continuously working to give them good service and products.
According to CyberMedia Research (CMR), iPhone 12 was in great demand last October and Apple did 60 percent growth throughout the year 2020.
Mr. Prabhu Ram, Head of Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), told that Apple is earning a lot of profit in India. The production of iPhone 12 in India will challenge other companies in the market.
There was a great sale of iPhone 11, XR, and then iPhone 12. With this, the company increased its share in the smartphone market to 4 percent in the festive season last year.
Apple started manufacturing iPhones in India in 2017 with the iPhone SE. Now Apple manufactures many iPhones in India. This includes XR, iPhone 11 and now iPhone 12 is also taking part in this list.
The iPhone 12 comes with 5G technology. It has an A14 bionic chip, edge-to-edge super retina XDR display. It comes with a flat edge design which the company claims it can be saved to a great extent when the phone falls. In India, Apple will use solar and wind energy for its needs. Apple hasn’t yet announced anything regarding the price drop of the iPhone 12 for Indian Customers.
